INSURANCE VALUATIONS

An insurance valuation is a thorough assessment of the rebuild cost of a property and takes into account everything from the size of the property to the internal finishes. In the event of any damage to the building the insurance value could determine the potential payout you receive from the insurer so having the correct insurance cover for your property or portfolio is crucial. If a building is not adequately covered there is a risk of insufficient funds being available for repairs at a critical time. Being over-insured could result in needlessly high premiums which your tenants may resist paying. 

When valuing your property our surveyor will look at the construction of the property (a London Stock brick vs. a facing brick facade) the property size and location which ensures our valuations reflect the true rebuild cost.
